Nigeria @61: Caution your Chirdren to Eschew Illegal Celebrations, or Else… – Kano CP Tells Parents

Considering how some citizens wrongfully celebrate Nigeria’s Independence Day on every 1st October, the Kano state Commissioner of Police, CP Sama’ila Shu’aibu Dikko, has on Friday morning assured Kano citizens of more stiffer security measures in the entire state.

 

In a statement issued to PRIME TIME NEWS on Friday morning and signed by DSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, the Police Public Relations Officer says, the CP has in that regard directed all Area Commanders, DPOs and HODs to beef up security and ensure deployment of Police personnel to all places throughout the State to prevent crimes.

 

The Commissioner of Police who urged parents and guardians to warn their children to avoid engaging in any act of breaking law and order, congratulated the Government and Kano residents in the independence day.

The Command however warned that “anybody caught breaking laws in the name of celebrating Nigeria’s Independence Day with face the wrath if the law.”
