– Sheikh Bauchi Accepts Gov’s Urge To Organise 2022 Sheikh Nyass Maulud in Kano
Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state reveals that, the state was ready to organise yearly national prayers for seeking Allah’s protection and guidance for the country and the state collectively.
This is contained in a statement signed by Abba Anwar,Chief Press Secretary to the Governor of Kano State on Saturday.
“We need to be firm in seeking for Allah’s help for the safety and security of our motherland Nigeria. Also for our dear state.
This national prayer being conducted under the leadership of the World Leader of Tijjaniyya movement, Khalifatul Amm Lidariqatul Tijjaniyya, Sidi Sharif Ali Bin Arabi, is blessed, looking at the size of Islamic scholars from within and outside the country, who attended.”
The prayer was led by Bin Arabi, who came all the way from Algeria, with a large entourage of eminent personalities. Which included leaders of leading Zawiyyas from Algeria, representative of the President of Algeria and academics from universities.
Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi also graced the occasion, alongside many Muqaddams, Imams, Huffaz and many Murids.
Governor Ganduje said, “We are ready to organise annual prayer in the state. For, we fervently need Divine intervention from Allah for the insecurity engulfing the nation.”
“I want use this platform to request our revered Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi that Kano wants to host this year’s Sheikh Ibrahim Nyass Maulud. We want go a long way in cementing further relationship between us,” he requested.
The request was granted by Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, during his brief remarks, that, “What the governor of Kano state Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje requested for, that thing is considered.”
The prayer was attended by representative of President Muhammadu Buhari, who was the State Minister of Agriculture, Mustapha Baba Shehuri, all the Cabinet members of the governor, the Speaker Kano State House of Assembly, Eng Hamisu Ibrahim Chidari,
Others are Senator Kabiru Ibrahim Gaya, House Leader, House of Representatives, Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Emirs of Kano, Bichi, Gaya, Karaye and Rano, party leaders and elders, members of the National and State Assemblies, Chairmen of 44 local governments, Imams from Nigeria and beyond, Muqaddams, and other eminent personalities.
