The suspended Chairman of the Kano State Public Complain and Anti-corruption Commission, Muhuyi MagajiĀ  Rimingado is seemed to be unfazed with his travails as he is presumably eying for the governorship seat in the 2023 election.Ā

Observation by PRIME TIME NEWS has shown that the embattled Kano anti-graft agency’s Boss as he has already gone ahead with his campaign activities in the state.Ā

It started as speculation that the suspended Kano anti-graft body’s Boss is eyeing the governorship seat in the state in 2023, but it is now a reality that he is ready to throw his hat into the ring.Ā

However, despite the crisis surrounding him, which led to his suspension recently by the state governor, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Rimingado had not cooled down as his campaign posters have been seen flooding streets of Kano.Ā

Our reporter, who went round some places in the Kano city observed that the posters have been pasted along some major roads and against buildings at some strategic places in the commercial city.Ā

Our reporter also observed that the posters simply carry inscriptions as “Vision 2023” and “Tested and Trusted”.

On Gwarzo highway, opposite the new campus of Bayero University (BUK), the campaign posters were seen pasted against pavement of the road.Ā

This newspaper gathered that most of the fosters were said to have been sponsored by businessmen and politicians in the state.Ā

It would be recalled that the Kano State House of Assembly had in JulyĀ  suspended Rimingado and asked him to appear before its panel to answer questions over some allegations against him.Ā

Rimingado was accused of allegedly employing a grade 04 as accountant of the anti-corruption commission.Ā

He was also suspended over the rejectionĀ  of anĀ  accountant sent to the Commission by the office of the accountant General of the State.
