The state Commissioner for Education, Alhaji Lawan Wakilbe, stated this on Friday in Maiduguri, saying the authorization was to enable staff and eligible students and good people of the state to partake in exercising their civic rights.
Lawan said, ” Borno State Government has declares 8-day codicil to the 2022/2023 academic calendar in Borno state”.
Adding, “the approval was to enable staff and eligible students exercise their civic rights “.
Lawan said, “this decision was informed known full that during elections days government structures particularly Primary Schools were converted to served as Collation Centres”.
