A Senior Legislative Aide to the Speaker, National Assembly Comrade Faizu Alfindiki has declared the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) a “defeated political force” following the All Progressives Congress (APC)’s landmark victory in Ghari and Tsanyawa.
Speaking to reporters on Sunday, Alfindiki praised the leadership of Kano APC Chairman, Alhaji Abdullahi Abbas, describing the outcome as a “political masterstroke” that has redefined the state’s political landscape.
“This is not just an election result, it is the people’s revolution,” Alfindiki told journalists. “For APC to capture Ghari and Tsanyawa from a ruling party is proof that Kano citizens have rejected the failures and deception of the NNPP.”
He credited Abbas with what he called exceptional political strategy, grassroots mobilization, and the ability to unite the APC towards a common goal.
“Chairman Abbas has delivered what many thought impossible, defeating the ruling party in its own stronghold. This record-breaking achievement will remain a reference point in Kano politics for years to come,” he added.
Alfindiki further noted that the victory was more than a local contest, arguing that it signaled the APC’s growing momentum statewide and nationally.
“The NNPP has collapsed under the weight of its own failures. The message from the people is clear: the era of deceit is over, and APC represents the future,” he said.
He urged party supporters to remain steadfast and united, stressing that the APC’s recent success marks the beginning of a broader movement to reclaim Kano’s political dominance
Alfindiki expressed gratitude to all stakeholders, supporters, and grassroots mobilizers who contributed to the victory, emphasizing that their collective effort made the APC’s success in Ghari and Tsanyawa possible.
