Garba Muhammad, a presidential aspirant for the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), has congratulated Kebbi State Governor, Dr. Nasir Idris, on his recent Fellowship Award from the Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN).
In a statement from his campaign team, Garba Muhammad for President (GMP), the award was described as a recognition of Governor Idris’s commitment to public service, transparency, and accountability, highlighting his credible leadership—values that the GMP campaign also champions.
Muhammad urged the Governor to remain steadfast in his pursuit of good governance, encouraging him to continue serving as a role model for both the people of Kebbi State and Nigeria at large.
“Having worked as a media consultant to national and international organizations and served in various leadership roles within the NUJ, I recognize Governor Idris as a leader of integrity and quality,” Muhammad said.
He commended the Governor’s management of state resources, noting that his efforts are positioning Kebbi as a hub for investment. Muhammad also praised Idris’s foreign trips, which have attracted international investments to the state, further boosting its economic prospects.
