The Nigeria police have sealed Leena event centre in Kano where some youth under the auspices of Concerned Citizen Kano state gathered to celebrate the International anti corruption day.

The youth have invited the former chairman of Kano state Anti corruption commission Muhuyi Magaji to speak at the occasion.

Narrating the incidence one of the participants Hauwwa Adamu told Prime Time News in Kano that when they gathered themselves at the venue some young officers appeared and asked them to disperse telling them that its an order from the state CID to seal the place.

Hauwa Adamu added that some staff of the Nigeri security and civil defence accompanied the officers who sealed the venue.

Efforts to reach the convener of the event Muhammad Nafi’u as at the time of filing this report prove abortive because his phone is switched off.
