Bagudu mourns death of KESIEC Commissioner, Dankolo

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has expressed deep shock over the death of Hon. Saidu Muhammad Dankolo, a Commissioner of the
Kebbi State Independent Electoral Commission (KESIEC) who died on Monday.

This is contained in a statement signed by Yahaya Sarki, Special Adviser (SA) Media to Kebbi State Governor on Wednesday.

The Governor who was in Zuru on Tuesday at the residence of the deceased on condolence visit with some Commissioners and Special Advisers described the sudden death of Hon. Saidu Muhammad Dankolo as shocking and sad.

Bagudu emotionally eulogised late Dankolo as a gentle and humble individual dedicated to his work of serving the state.

He averred ‘ the late Hon . Saidu Muhammad Dankolo as testified by many people is a gentle and hard-working man .

” Even though we love him ,but Allah loves him most “, he said in a sober mood.

The governor while condoling the family and relatives of the deceased, prayed Allah to admit him into Aljannah Firdaus and also give his family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss

‘ I am here on behalf of Government and people of Kebbi State to condole you over this shocking loss, may Allah grant him Aljannah Firdaus, Amin ‘, he prayed.

Receiving the governor with his entourage , Senator Bala Ibn Na Allah, Senator representing Kebbi South and the Chief of Sakaba Chiefdom , Alhaji Ladan Sakaba thanked the governor immensely on behalf of the deceased ‘s family.

Na Allah acknowledged the presence of Governor Bagudu particularly the governor’s positive testimony on the character of the deceased.

The late KESIEC Commissioner died on Monday in Birnin Kebbi at the age of 61.

Before his departure, governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu also condoled with the family of Alhaji Idi MaiRakumi Zuru who died recently.

Late Alhaji Idi MaiRakumi was an elder of the ruling All Progressive Congress in the state.
