BREAKING: Deposed Emir of Gaya Accepts Removal as Act of God
Alhaji Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, deposed Emir of Gaya, has stated his acceptance of his removal from the position, attributing it to the will of God.
The former Emir was one of five first-class kings affected by the Kano State government’s repeal of a law that previously divided the Kano Emirate and elevated their positions.
In a BBC Hausa interview, Alhaji Abdulkadir emphasized his lack of animosity towards anyone involved in the decision.
He also affirmed his intention to refrain from legal challenges and expressed his openness to serving in a different capacity if offered the opportunity.
