Damaturu – The date Saturday 18th March 2023 was set aside by the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC for the States Governorship and States House Of Assembly Elections held in the thirty-six states excluding the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.
In Yobe State Governor Maimala Buni joins hundreds of voters who are willing to participate in the election exercise.
He cast his vote at polling unit 004 Bulturam/Yarimary ward of Buni Gari of Gujba Local Government.
Addressing Press Men shortly after casting their vote, Buni started by thanking God his creator for sparing his life to witness such a moment.
He equally thanks the good people of the state for coming out despite so many challenges bedeviling their normal lives to cast their votes.
Buni thanks INEC for creating an enabling environment for the people irrespective of the social strata they belong to exercise their franchise without discrimination.
