CEO Aminu Takai Foundation applauds Sen. Kwankwaso for transforming Kano’s education sector

Engr. Aminu Adam Takai, the CEO and Founder of Aminu Takai and Innovation Support, has commended former Kano state governor, Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, for his significant impact on the educational sector during his tenure.

Takai, who emphasized the importance of education as a means of acquiring knowledge and skills, praised Kwankwaso’s efforts during a press briefing following the graduation of 36 qualified nurses from Nafisatu College of Nursing Sciences, Kwankwaso, a milestone marking the first private Nursing College in Northern Nigeria, situated in Madobi Local Government Area of Kano state.

The CEO hailed Kwankwaso for establishing the institution, referring to him as a champion of education in Africa. He highlighted that a substantial number of degree and Ph.D. holders in Kano state were beneficiaries of Kwankwasiyya scholarships.

Takai encouraged parents to motivate their children to prioritize education for the betterment of society as a whole.

The recent graduates of Nafisatu College received their practicing licenses from the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria.

Governor Abba Yusuf of Kano State, represented by Deputy Aminu Gwarzo during the event, expressed pride in Kwankwaso’s educational contributions and announced plans to provide automatic employment to the top-performing nursing graduates from the institution.

Senator Kwankwaso, who founded the college in 2019, shared his satisfaction with the students’ achievements and praised the college’s management for upholding high standards.

He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to witness the graduation of qualified nurses in his community.

The Provost of the college, Hajiya Halima Muhammad Yunusa, called on the state government, affluent individuals, and corporate entities to provide scholarships for bright but financially challenged students willing to enroll at the college.

She emphasized the institution’s rapid growth since its inception in 2017 and operation commencement in 2019, underscoring the need to support underserved individuals pursuing education.
