Dala LG caretaker boss reveals achievements after 4 months in office

Four months after assuming office, the caretaker chairman of Dala Local Government Area, Hon. Auwalu Ibrahim, popularly known as Hasken Dala, has revealed some of the key achievements his administration has made.

Ibrahim, made the revelations while briefing newsmen on Tuesday, outlining initiatives implemented since his appointment.

“In the past four months, we have focused on the educational sector, improving sanitation, tackling security challenges, or initiating infrastructure projects,” he said.

He highlighted building a new primary school in the Goburawa ward, drainage channels to prevent flooding, and collaborating with security agencies to reduce crime rates.

The chairman also decried paucity of adequate funds in the treasury account of the local government, even though the LG has a series of sources of income but the immediate past administration misused them.

Looking ahead, Ibrahim outlined his plans for the remaining period of his tenure, emphasizing his commitment to youth empowerment, agricultural development, and school renovation among others.

“We are confident that by working together with the people of Dala, we can achieve even more in the coming months,” he concluded.

Overall, the press conference provided a glimpse into the activities of the Dala LGA caretaker administration in its first four months.

As the tenure progresses, it will be interesting to see how the administration addresses the concerns raised by residents and builds upon its achievements.
