The Sarkin Dawaki Babba, Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi, has called on Northern women to support their husbands while safeguarding their dignity, religion, and cultural values.

He made the call while chairing the Northern Women Summit organized by the Northern Women Initiative held in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi, who donated ₦5 million to support the Initiative, urged women to steer clear of distractions and the misuse of social media, which he described as a major challenge affecting modern society.

He further encouraged Northern women to be good ambassadors of their region wherever they find themselves and to continue engaging in activities that uphold their self-worth and the reputation of the Northern community.

The traditional ruler attended the event alongside his brother, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, and other distinguished personalities.

In their remarks, members of the Northern Women Initiative praised Alhaji Aminu Babba Dan Agundi as a respected traditional leader whose wisdom, integrity, and commitment to unity and cultural preservation continue to inspire generations. They described him as a true custodian of culture and a pillar of strength and guidance within the community.
