Junior Dan Buram Football Club of Daura, Katsina state has secured the final ticket of the ongoing Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Galadima soccer competition after beating Mubayya FC 3-1.
Speaking shortly after the final match, the proprietor of Junior Danburam FC, Alhaji Daha Umar Faruk described his team qualification as well deserved.
Alhaji Daha Umar Faruk expressed optimistic that with current performance of his players, the sky will be their limits.
While expressing satisfaction with the general organisation of the tournament, he charged the organisers led by Engineer Sulaiman Musa to sustain the tempo towards the overall development of the game in the state and the country at large.
Alhaji Daha Umar Faruk who double as the district head of Baure and Dan Buram of Daura of emirate in Katsina state charged his players to redouble efforts with a view to ensure the team lift this year’s Galadima cup at the end of the championship.
It would be recalled that the defending championship of the competition Junior Kano Pillars FC were eliminated in the quarter final by Sheshe FC 4+3 in a penalty shootout.
