DJAI empowers 100 less privileged women in Gombe

In efforts to assist the needy cushion the hardship of life Dangin Juna Africa Initiative (DJAI) has empowered 100 less privileged women with the sum of Five thousand naira each.

The empowerment is coming the Group marks its 6th Anniversary held at Deba Local Government Area of Gombe state where they carefully chose the poorest women to assist them with the cash gift.

In his welcome address the chairman of the group Bashir Sani Dogo, said the group were used to empowering less privileged and vulnerable people annually in each of their anniversary.

Bashir Sani Dogo, said Dangin Juna is a non-governmental, non-profit organization with members contributing to pilot the empowerment package for the concerned people of their society.

The chairman Deba local government area Hon Shu’aibu Umar Galadima, commended the group for choosing his local government area for the assistance.

Added that what Dangin Juna Africa had done was a wake up call for him towards providing a special saving personally for at least 2 months that he use the name of Dangin Juna to give his contribution to the needy.

In his address the emir of Deba Ahmed Usman appreciated what Dangin Juna had done while saying that if everyone embraced one another there would be no crises in the world.

Emir also said if the rich people shoulder a poor or to empower one or two people the number of redundancy would also reduce among the society.

The social Director Dangin Juna, Hajiya Maryam Musthapha Maina, called on the women that benefitted to utilize the money judiciously for them to boost their business and those that has nothing to do could start a business.

Zainab Galadima, who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries appreciated the gesture by Dangin Juna Africa for assisting them with some token that boost their business and petty traders.
