The Deputy Governor of Kano State, Comr. Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo has felicitated with Muslim Ummah in Kano State and across the nation on this year’s occasion of Eid-el-Maulud.
The occasion, according to Gwarzo, marks the birth of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) and is a moment of reflection, unity, and spiritual renewal.
The Deputy Governor, in a statement released on Tuesday by his Press Secretary, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, said the event serves as a reminder on the teachings of Islam, emphasizing peace, compassion, and the pursuit of righteousness.
Gwarzo commended the faithful for their commitment to the teachings of Islam, which continue to inspire harmony and goodwill within our society. He underscores the importance of upholding the values of empathy, tolerance, and respect for one another, as exemplified by the Prophet’s life.
“As we celebrate this significant day, I am calling on all residents of Kano State to use this occasion to strengthen the bonds of unity, friendship, and solidarity within our diverse community” Gwarzo solicited.
He also urged the Muslim Ummah to offer prayers for peace, progress, and prosperity in Kano state and the nation as a whole.
The Deputy Governor however, expressed his commitment to working tirelessly alongside Governor of the State, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf and the entire government to improve the living standards of the people of Kano State.
