President Muhammadu Buhari former Special Adviser on National Assembly matters, Alhaji Sulaiman Abdurrahman has declared that the era of imposition in the fold of All Progressives Congress was gone forever.
According to him “I am not very concerned about Direct primaries or indirect modes of selecting our candidates, But let’s be sincere and ready to do justice to ourselves (APC). The era of imposition was gone. Anambra is the best lesson for us.”
The former aide who is popularly known as Kawu Sumaila stand came on the heels of discontent by Governors over the adoption of Direct Primary as a mode of selecting party candidates.
The former ranking member of the House of Representatives who made his view known on his verified Facebook timeline on Saturday cautioned that “Anambra is the best lesson for us.”

Mr Abdulrahman is also the founder of private university in Kano, who is eyeing the senatorial district ticket from Kano South Senatorial district come 2023.
