Addressing an event held in his honor by the Housing Development Advocacy Network (HDAN) in Abuja over the weekend, Dangiwa underscored the fundamental right of all Nigerians to access well-constructed, high-quality housing at prices within reach.
The Minister emphasized that the collective responsibility of stakeholders in the housing industry was to adopt innovative approaches and collaborate in dismantling the existing systemic hurdles.
“I have been engaging with senior officials and agency heads within the ministry to unveil a comprehensive Strategic Housing and Urban Development Blueprint,”
“This blueprint is set to outline the ministry’s priorities, reform initiatives, and strategic plans” revealed Dangiwa.
The Minister further elucidated that the ministry’s role extended beyond facilitating an environment conducive to private sector investments. It also involved the formulation of policies that empower agencies under its jurisdiction to function optimally.
