Residents of Kaduna and surrounding areas have expressed their delight following the resumption of operations at FRCN Kaduna radio station yesterday.
The station’s closure had sparked concerns among listeners who rely on its informative programs and news broadcasts.
In a phone-in program titled “Girke Girkenmu” monitored in Zaria today, several listeners commended the federal government’s swift action to stabilize the station.
They described the move as a step in the right direction, recognizing FRCN Kaduna’s long-standing role as a trusted source of news and enlightenment.
Yunusa, a caller from Sumaila local government area in Kano state, expressed his excitement at the station’s return. He congratulated the staff, management, and government officials involved in its revival, including the Minister of Information and the Director-General of FRCN.
Another listener, Abdulhadi Musa, echoed the sentiment, calling the resumption a “welcome development.” He emphasized the station’s importance in disseminating government policies and programs effectively.
Sule Ba Ka Biko Soba and Isiya Dan Kishin Nigeria also joined the chorus of appreciation, urging the federal government to provide continued support for FRCN Kaduna to ensure its smooth operation and continued contribution to the socio-economic development of the country.
