FUDMA matriculates 3870 into various departments

3870 students have been matriculated at the Federal University Dutsin-Ma into various departments in their faculties out of more than ten thousand said to applied for admission.

This was made know by the Vice Chancellor of the University Professor Armaya’u Hamisu Bichi in an address he delivered at the very colourful event on Monday at Dutsin-Ma.

He described the tertiary institution as one of the well sought for universities in Nigeria adding that it started with only three Faculties in 2012 and now it has twelve faculties with several departments under the them as well as a Post Graduate School.

“Federal University of Dutsin-Ma is one of the well sought Universities in Nigeria. Out of all the more than ten thousand candidates that applied to this university, today we are matriculating 3870 student into various Departments in. Their Respective Faculties.

“Therefore, I share with you the joys of being admitted into your respective programs of your choice. I once again welcome you all to this wonderful serene environment” the VC stated in his address.

However, the VC encouraged the students to concentrate on their studies as the school rewards excellent performances. He also warned them on engaging in social vices, cultism and examination misconduct.

The new students were also advised to take advantage of the sports facilities and avoid indecent dressing.

On the issue of security, the VC urged the students to embrace basic security tips that may be released from time to time.
