Gombe State Governor, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya (Dan Majen Gombe) has approved the dissolution of the board and management of Gombe State Transport Service (Gombe Line) with immediate effect.
This was contained in a statement issued to PRIME TIME NEWS on Thursday and signed by Ismaila Uba Misilli, the Director-General Press Affairs at Government House, Gombe.
The Secretary to the State Government, Professor Ibrahim Abubakar Njodi conveyed the Governor’s approval today in a statement.
Governor Yahaya has also approved with immediate effect, the appointment of Usman Mamman Kamara as Interim Sole Administrator of the transport company and mandated him to select key staff that would man Traffic, Commercial, Revenue, Audit and Workshop Departments.
According to the SSG, the Sole Administrator, who has practical records and cognate experience in the organization, is to report directly to the office of the Executive Governor.
