Gov Buni Approves Appointment Of 7 New Aides

The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of seven new Senior Special Assistants (SSAs), following the dissolution of the State Executive Council as part of efforts to ensure a smooth Transition of government on May 29th, 2023. 

This was contained in a press statement signed by Mamman Mohammed, the Director General Press and Media Affairs to the Governor.

Those appointed were; Dr. Muhammad Sani, SSA on Education, Dr. Garba Iliya SSA on Humanitarian Affairs, Barrister Saleh Samanja SSA on Legal Matters.

Others include Gen. Abdulsalam Dahiru (rtd) SSA on Security, Dr. Mohammed Lawan Gana SSA on Health, Aji Yerima Bularafa SSA on Political Affairs and Abdullahi Bego SSA on Wealth Creation respectively.

“According to him, the appointment of the Senior Special Assistants became necessary to avoid creating a vacuum in view of the strategic position of their respective offices.
