The Governors’ Wives Forum has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Remi Tinubu, in actualizing the Renewed Hope Initiative (RHI) programs aimed at improving the lives of women, children, and vulnerable individuals across the country.

Jigawa State First Lady, Hajiya Hadiza Umar Namadi, made this known while speaking to journalists in Dutse, the state capital.

She emphasized that all governors’ wives in Nigeria stand firmly behind the First Lady, particularly in her efforts through the Renewed Hope Initiative, which has positively impacted countless lives.

“Her Excellency, Senator Remi Tinubu, deserves commendation and unwavering support for her dedication to uplifting children, women, youth, and other vulnerable groups in Nigeria,” Namadi stated.

She further assured that the Governors’ Wives Forum would continue to play an active role in supporting the First Lady’s initiatives, particularly at the state level, to empower women and promote self-reliance among the less privileged.

“As governors’ wives, we are committed to complementing her efforts by implementing empowerment programs that will improve the lives of women and vulnerable individuals in our respective states,” she added.

Namadi also highlighted Jigawa State’s commitment to women’s empowerment, noting that the administration of Governor Malam Umar Namadi has already launched various initiatives aimed at supporting women to achieve their long-term goals.

She commended Governor Namadi for his dedication to improving the welfare of women and children and urged the people of Jigawa to support government policies for the betterment of the state.
