Guber Polls: Ex-Councilor shot dead in Kano

Tragedy struck during the governorship and state assembly elections in Kano State as a former councilor, Ibrahim Nakuzama, was reportedly shot dead by soldiers on suspicion of ballot box snatching.

The incident occurred in Getso, Gwarzo Local Government Area of Kano State on Saturday.

Ibrahim Nakuzama, who was a former councilor in the area, was shot by soldiers during the election, and his death has caused grief and sadness among his family and friends.

The Nigerian Army has not yet released an official statement on the matter.

According to reports, Ibrahim’s funeral has already taken place in his hometown in Getso. The deceased is survived by two wives and six children
