A High Court sitting in the Federal Capital Territory Abuja, Maitama District, has issued and interim order directing the National Board of Technical Education to as matter of urgency unseal a Property belonging to D.B Mangal Company, own by Alhaji Dahiru Barau Mangal.

Mangal was in Court to compel the Attorney General of the Federation, the SSS, the Inspector General of Police and the National Board of Technical Education NBTE to unseal his seized property located at Maitama District Abuja.

However, the presiding Judge of the Abuja High Court, Justice Y. Halilu granted all the three motions prayed by Mangal seeking the NBTE to unsealed his property at Plot No. 1405 Cadestral zone A05 Maitama.

The Court also directed both the Attorney General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami, the Inspector General of Police, the SSS and the NBTE to henceforth allow Mangal unhindered access to his property they unlawfully seized.

The Judge also directed the parties to maintain the status quo that existed before the unlawful seizure pending the determination of the substantive matter.

The case was adjourned to the 13th of December, 2021 for hearing.
