The Commissioner who said the items were being presented on behalf of Governor Bello Muhammad Matawalle, urged the security agencies selected for the gesture to ensure proper utilisation of the equipment for the protection of lives and property of the citizens.

The gadgets included Security Vests, Handcuffs, Security Boots, Teargas, Way Radio, Hand Head Metal Detector, Flashlight, Jack Knife among others.

Responding, Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Zamfara State Command Muhammad Bello Mu’azu and the representative of the State Commissioner of Police, CSP Maimagani Gimba A. appreciated the ministry and assured the Commissioner of effective utilisation of the equipment.

The NSCDC boss further assured that, with the provision of the kind assistance, the security agencies will be able to gear up in ensuring Zamfara crime-free state with a view to secure condusive environments for the expected legitimate businesses.
