The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released the results of the mop-up Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) held on Saturday, May 6, 2023.

Recall that the mop-up examination was organized by JAMB for candidates who missed the earlier scheduled examinations due to reasons beyond their control.

According to JAMB’s spokesperson, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, the mop-up UTME was conducted for three categories of candidates, including those who were verified but could not sit for the examination, those who could not be biometrically verified, and those with mismatched data.

The board had earlier arranged an emergency meeting on May 1, 2023, to address the issue and announced the mop-up UTME to give the affected candidates a fair chance.

In a bulletin published on Monday, May 8, 2023, JAMB announced that all results of the mop-up UTME have been released.

“Results of mop-up UTME held on Saturday, May 6, 2023, released”, the board said.
