From Mika’il Tsoho, Dutse
Governor Malam Umar A. Namadi of Jigawa State has lifted the suspension of the Commissioner for Special Duties, Auwalu Dalladi Sankara, with immediate effect.
This was announced in a statement issued by the Secretary to the State Government (SSG), Malam Bala Ibrahim, and shared with journalists by the SSG’s Public Relations Officer, Ismail Ibrahim Dutse.
The statement noted that the suspension of the commissioner was initially imposed due to his alleged involvement in an incident reported to the Kano State Hisbah Board.
However, the SSG clarified that the suspension was lifted following Sankara’s discharge and acquittal by an Upper Shari’ah Court in Kano State.
