The Executive Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council in Plateau State, Barr. John Kyohroh Christopher has tasked the newly sworn in appointees to align with the broader vision of Governor Caleb Mutfwang to ensure Jos North remains at the forefront in times of development, peacebuilding and progress.
The Chairman stated this at the swearing in ceremony of Supervisory Councilors, Chief of Staff and Deputy, Special Advisers, Senior Special Assistants, and Special Assistants on Media held at the Council’s Secretariat in jos.
The Chairman through his Assistant Chief Information Officer,Philip Eplong, said his administration has selected men and women of competence to assist him drive the greater together administration in Jos North, warning that incompetence, negligence, and betrayal of public trust will not be tolerated and assured of taking decisive steps whenever the need arises.
He congratulated the newly sworned in appointees on their appointment saying “You are now ambassadors of good governance, service, and development” the task ahead is enormous, but with commitment, teamwork and the fear of God,We shall deliver on our mandate, the Chairman remark.
“We have no room for complacency, the people are watching, the future is waiting, let us serve with honour, honesty, dignity and excellence”.
The Chairman urged the newly appointed Chief of Staff Garba Sunday Bunu, Supervisory Councilors,and other appointees to be focused and remain committed in their duties as according to him, the people of the locality have high expectations and personal aggrandisement.
He reminded them to work assiduously to uplift the people by delivering the dividends of democracy to the doorstep of its citizens.
John Kyohroh Christopher further emphasized the need for loyalty to the party, administration and to remain dedicated in bringing innovative driven-solutions and to be more proactive in addressing communities needs as well as to uphold the values, principles, and vision of the time is now administration of Governor Mutfwang.
The Chairman equally implored them to assist him market the activities of the administration.
Responding on behalf of her colleagues, Yvonne Pam Jack appreciated the Chairman and the people of the locality for the confidence reposed in them and assured of their commitment to put in their best to justify the confidence reposed in them.
