Kano State Commissioner of Police, CP Mamman Dauda has organized a 2-days training for Area Traffic Officers (ATOs) and Divisional Traffic Officers (DTOs) supervising the Traffic Control of Area Commands and Police Divisions respectively within the Kano Metropolis.
This was contained in a statement issued to PRIME TIME NEWS by the Commands’ Spokesperson, SP. Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa.
Kiyawa disclosed that the training was held on the 4th and 5th of February, 2023.
PRIME TIME NEWS gathered that, during the theory and practical sessions of the training facilitated by the Officer in Charge of Kano State Police Command Motor Traffic Division (MTD), SP Abubakar Imam, the officers were trained on and directed to ensure smooth traffic flow, and take cognizance of emergencies such as Fire Service Motor Vehicles, ambulances, Accidents, etc.
At the end of the training sessions, the Traffic Officers received Reflective Jackets and were directed to ensure efficient service delivery.
The Commissioner of Police appreciated the officers for their efforts and thanked members of the public for their prayers, support, encouragement and cooperation.
