According to Garba, the Deputy Governor narrated “I lost a friend I grew up with. He was not only my close friend but also my political ally. Late Sarki Aliyu was a simple, friendly, and committed person who dedicated his life to service,” he said.

Comr. Gwarzo stated that the late lawmaker served Kano State and Nigeria with a strong commitment and sense of responsibility, and his good work will always be remembered.

He also sent his condolences to the families, friends, and associates of the late lawmaker, as well as to the Government and people of Kano State.

The Deputy Governor encouraged those mourning to take comfort in the good legacy left behind by Hon. Sarki Aliyu Daneji, whose contributions to the development of Kano State and the country will not be forgotten.

“I pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings and grants him Aljannatul Firdaus. May Allah also give his family and the entire Muslim Ummah the strength to bear this loss,” He said.
