The staff of Kano State Contributory Healthcare Management Agency (KSCHMA) has been sensitised on the Lassa fever and how to prevent themselves against it and other diseases.
The Executive Secretary of the Agency Dr. Halima Muhammad Mijinyawa. Informed the staff about the outbreak of the Lassa fever, Diphtheria and also COVID that is still present in Kano State.

Dr. Mijinyawa urged the staff of the Agency to be cautious in their daily activities and always abide by health professionals advice especially good hygiene of the body and environment to reduce the spread of the diseases in their family and the general public.
The paper has been presented on Lassa fever symptoms prevention and management by Isma’il Nasiru a clinical staff of the Agency.
The sensitization was based on the Executive Secretary’s directive to hold a special Morning briefing in addition to usual one that holds every fortnight as part of an effort to create awareness among the staff as well as the general public in order to tackle the menace.
