Kano State Government said over 18 workers in the mainstream retired from the state service and 187 others were promoted in the month of September 2021 respectively.
The Chairman Kano state civil service commission Engr Bello Mohammad Kiru disclose this today shortly after the commission routine meeting for senior staff promotion exercise held at the conference hall of the commission.
Engr. Kiru further explained that those retired from the service of the state government are senior and junior staff, due to age or reaching 35 years in active service.
According to the statement, about six conversion cases and eleven transfer of service were treated during the meeting, and appeal to the relevant MDAs seeking for promotion of their staff to ensure proper documentation and scrutiny the documents to varify all are intact before forwarding to the commission for their own interest.
He than expressed appreciation for members of the commission, under the able leadership of the Permanent Secretary of the commission Alh. Sani Abdullahi kofar mata for working assiduously towards achieving the desire objectives.

Mata, implore those promoted to reciprocate the kind gesture of governor Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje for approving the promotion exercise dispite the current situation in the country, were some states cannot afford to pay even the salary as at when due, and charged them to put in their best at their various stations for accelerated development in the state.
