Kano State Government Condoles Chief Judge, Emirate Council over the death of Late Hajiya Umma Bayero

Kano State Deputy Governor Dr.Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna,Saturday led the State Government delegation to the funeral of Late Hajiya Umma Bayero a sister to a former Emir of Kano Late Alh.Ado Bayero and the mother of the State Chief Judge,Justice Nura Sagir Umar which took place at the Emir’s Palace,Kano.

This is contained in a statement by Hassan Musa Fagge Chief Press Secretary to the Deputy Governor of Kano State and issued to Prime Time News on Saturday.

Late Hajiya Umma Bayero,Age 88 died yesterday(friday) after an illness.

While delivering the condolence message after the funeral,the Deputy Governor said..”On behalf of the Governor Dr.Abdullahi Umar Ganduje and the good people of Kano State we are commiserating with you over the death of this great woman who contributed immensely to the development of the State.”

“The death of a mother can not be compared to any loss,because of her role in the family,the vacuum will be difficult to fill he said”.

However we are offering our deepest sympathy to the family and the Kano Emirate Council and pray to Allah to give them strength to cope up with the great loss and grant the departed soul Jannatul Firdaus.

The delegation comprises of Commissioners and other senior government officials.
