The Department of State Security (DSS) has allegedly arrested a 23-year-old woman named Firdausi Musa Ahamadu for threatening to carry out a suicide bombing and kill all those responsible for the victory of the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate in Kano, Nasiru Yusuf Gawuna.
In a viral video clip, Ahamadu was seen and heard attacking the lead judge in the Governorship Election Petition Tribunal, warning that she would not hesitate to detonate a bomb if she saw her.
She also threatened Gawuna, saying that she would “strike him with a bomb vest to commit suicide” if he dared to reveal his location.
In the same video, Ahamadu also attacked Vice President Senator Kashim Shettima, blaming him for the court predicament of the NNPP in Kano.
The DSS has not yet released a statement on the arrest, but a source who spoke on condition of anonymity confirmed that Ahamadu is in their custody.
