KAROTA to Partner with Kano Security Institute on Personnel Training – MD

Kano State Roads Traffic Agency KAROTA has assured of its readiness to collaborate with Kano State Corporate Security Institute, Gabasawa in the training of its personnel for effective performance.

This was contained in a statement issued to newsmen by Abubakar Ibrahim Sharada, KAROTA’s PRO on Monday.

According to Sharada, the Managing Director of the Agency, Hon Faisal Mahmud Kabir gave the assurance when the new Commandant of the Institute, Capt Bello Muhammad Maigaskiya, paid him a courtesy visit in his office.

Hon. Faisal Mahmud Kabir assured that the Agency would continue to give priority to the training and re-training of KAROTA personnel to cope with modern challenges in discharging their duties.

He therefore Congratulated the new Commandant on his appointment and wished him successful tenure.

The KAROTA Boss then urged the staff who will benefit from the training to make the best use of the opportunity for their own progress.

Earlier, the Commandant of the Institute, Capt Bello Muhammad Gaskia told the Karota MD that he was at the Agency to discuss ways of mutual benefits between the two organizations.

Capt.Bello Maigaskiya explained that the Institute is now better equipped with modern equipment for the training of Paramilitary personnel in accordance with the world’s best practices.

He commended Kano State Governor Alh Abba Kabir Yusuf for reviving the institute which has suffered neglect in the past eight years, but can now compete with its counterpart within and outside Nigeria.

He appreciated the move by the Managing Director of KAROTA Hon Faisal Mahmud Kabir to partner with the Institute in the training of its personnel.

Capt. Bello Maigaskiya assured of the readiness of the Institute to give quality training to Roads Marshalls for efficient service delivery.
