Kano State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting strategic partnerships with private organizations to drive development and economic growth in the state.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf made the disclosure while receiving a delegation from Fidelity Bank at the State Government House today.
Represented by his deputy, Comrade Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, the Governor acknowledged the long-standing cordial relationship between the two entities.
The Governor expressed his appreciation for Fidelity Bank’s continued support and collaboration in various initiatives, urging the bank to complement the government’s efforts in strengthening the state’s economy.
He emphasized the importance of private sector involvement in achieving sustainable development and commended the bank’s management for their visit, stressing the need for collective efforts to achieve meaningful progress.
Speaking earlier, Mrs. Nneka Onyedi Ikpe, Managing Director/ CEOof Fidelity Bank in Kano, explained that the purpose of the visit was to explore opportunities for collaboration with the state government on various programs and initiatives, enabling mutual support for the development of Kano State.
She reiterated the bank’s commitment to supporting the state’s economic growth and development, aligning with the government’s vision.
