The Chairman of Labana Global Ventures Alh. Abubakar Abbah Adamu Aliero has unfolded the company’s preparation for the establishment of a Radio and Television Stations in Birnin Kebbi.
He said already all procedures required for the establishment of the two stations including procurement of equipments are being concluded.
Alhaji Abbah was speaking when he visited Sunnah Television station at Bohicon and Dialogue Radio Station at Candy in Benin Republic during his business trip to the neighbouring country.
He said contributing to peaceful coexistence and socioeconomic development among the people of Kebbi
State are the primary objective of establishing the stations.
He noted with satisfaction, the remarkable contributions of the electronic media stations in their sustained enlightment programmes on the need peace, unity and security in the state.
The Chairman further declared that ” Labana stations are joining you to compliment your commendable efforts in entrenching democratic values and freedom of expression through well thought out programmes in strict compliance with the rules and regulations stipulated by the government regulatory agencies”
Alh. Abbah used the opportunity to invite the Chairman of Sunnah Television International Alh Isaah Saley Salifou a Member of the National Assembly in the country to come and establish Sunnah Television Station in Birnin Kebbi, with assurance of total support for the establishment.
In his remarks, Honourable Saley expressed gratitude for the visit by the chairman who he described as “a dedicated, generous and selfless business tycoon who has immensely contributed to my success in business and politics over the years”.
Labana Radio and Television Stations will now join other business subsidiaries of Labana Global Ventures which includes Labana Rice Mills, Labana poultry, Labana fisheries, Labana orchard, Labana Egry and Labana water Horse manufacturing industries.
