Labour Minister, DG NPC Empower 10,000 Youths with Food Items, 350 Dispatch Riders

The Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, in collaboration with the Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, has distributed 350 motorcycles to Renewed Hope dispatch riders and food items to 10,000 youths in Kano.

The empowerment initiative, flagged off as part of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda, fulfills a promise earlier made by Dr. Dan Agundi during the presidential election campaign.

He had pledged that, if elected, President Tinubu would establish small-scale industries and other initiatives to support Nigerian youths.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Dingyadi lauded Dr. Dan Agundi for his commitment, describing him as a visionary, exemplary, and dedicated leader whose efforts should serve as a model for other Nigerian politicians.

He emphasized that people-focused interventions such as these are vital for national development and inclusive governance, adding that the program aligns with the objectives of the Renewed Hope agenda.

Dr. Dan Agundi disclosed that the distribution marks the fourth phase of the ongoing empowerment scheme aimed at improving the welfare of citizens, particularly members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Tinubu Support Groups (TSG) in the North West.

He reaffirmed his commitment to sustain the monthly empowerment program as part of delivering tangible benefits to the people in fulfillment of campaign promises.

The event, held in Kano under the auspices of the Tinubu Support Groups, attracted dignitaries and stakeholders from Kano State, neighboring states, and the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja, underscoring the wide-reaching impact of the initiative.
