MAAUN congratulates Hajia Mairo Saidu on appointment as Principal School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kano

The President and Founder of Maryam Abacha American University (MAAUN) conglomerate, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo and the university management, have congratulated Hajia Mairo Saidu on her appointment as the Principal of School of Nursing and Midwifery, Kano.

Hajia Mairo Saidu graduated from Maryam Abacha American University of Niger.

The congratulatory message was contained in a statement personally signed by Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo and made available to journalists in Kano on Wednesday.

The MAAUN President described the appointment of Hajia Mairo Saidu as the Principal of the school by the Kano State government as ‘a well deserved appointment’ considering her experience and hard work while she was student of the university.

Prof. Abubakar Gwarzo expressed hope that the new appointee would deploy her wealth of experience in running the affairs of the college with a view to moving the school forward.

“On behalf of myself and family and Management of MAAUN, I wish to felicitate with you on your appointment as the new Principal of the College of Nursing and Midwifery, Kano.

“May the Almighty Allah guide you in the discharge of your new assignment,” Prof Abubakar Gwarzo said in the statement.

He also prayed to Almighty Allah to give Hajia Mairo Saidu the strength, courage and wisdom to steer the leadership of the college with Justice and equity.
