The management of Maryam Abacha American University in Niger extends its condolences to the Assistant Academic Secretary of the University, Mr. Bemdoo Agwaza over the death of his mother, Mama Hannah Mbawekwagh Agwaza Shagba who died on Wednesday 13/10/2021 after a brief illness.
The condolence message was contained in a statement signed by MAAUN President, Prof. Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo sent to Mr. Bemdoo Agwaza to his home state of Benue. The management described the death of Mother Hannah Agwaza as a great loss to the Staff of MAAUN University, including senior and junior staff, lecturers and students alike.
“On behalf of the management of Maryam Abacha American University in Niger, we extend our heartfelt condolences to the family of Hannah Agwaza and all the people of Benue State and Nigeria as a whole,” said Prof. Gwarzo.
Professor Adamu Abubakar Gwarzo prays to Almighty Allah to grant us and her family the fortitude to bear the lost.
Late Mama Hannan passed away on 13/10/2021 at the age of 74. She has 9 children including Mr Bemdoo Agwaza.
