NANS Commends President Tinubu on Landmark Approval of N70,000 Minimum Wage for Workers

The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) warmly applauds President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s visionary leadership in approving the long-awaited increase in the national minimum wage to N70,000. According to the students body this bold move demonstrates a clear commitment to revitalizing the economy, boosting worker morale, and fostering sustainable growth.

President of the Senate, National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) on Thursday.

According to him the significance of this decision cannot be overstated. “A higher minimum wage will not only enhance the purchasing power of workers but also stimulate economic activity, create jobs, and reduce income inequality. It is a vital step towards realizing the Renewed Hope Agenda’s promise of a more prosperous and equitable Nigeria.”

“We urge Nigerian workers to reciprocate this gesture by rededicating themselves to their various roles, embracing innovation, and supporting the President’s efforts to overcome the current economic challenges. Together, we can build a more resilient and thriving nation.
