From Mika’il Tsoho, Dutse
The Dutse Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has expressed deep condolences to the Governor of Jigawa State, Mallam Umar Namadi, over the tragic loss of his mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and his son, Abdulwahab Umar Namadi.
In a statement signed by the Chairman of the NBA Dutse Branch, Mustapha Muhammad Kashim, Esq., and made available to journalists, the association conveyed its profound sympathy to the governor and his family.
“Sir, the branch and its entire members share in your grief during this most trying and difficult time. We, however, urge Your Excellency, the immediate family, and the people of Jigawa State to take solace in the fact that the late Hajiya Maryam Namadi, a devout servant of Allah, lived a worthy and fulfilled life. Likewise, the passing of your beloved son, Abdulwahab, is a reminder of Allah’s decree that every soul shall taste death. The loss of a child is one of the greatest trials in this world, and enduring it with faith and patience raises one’s status in Jannah,” the statement read.
The NBA further prayed for Allah (SWT) to forgive the deceased and grant them the highest rank in Jannah, Jannatul Firdausi. It also prayed for strength and comfort for the governor, his family, and the people of Jigawa State to bear the irreplaceable loss.
Meanwhile, Propcom+, a non-governmental organization led by its Country Director, Dr. Adiya Ode, also extended condolences to Governor Namadi, his family, and the people of Jigawa State.
In its statement, Propcom+ expressed profound sadness, saying, “With heavy hearts, the management and staff of Propcom+ extend our deepest condolences to Your Excellency and your family following the devastating loss of your beloved mother, Hajiya Maryam Namadi, and your cherished firstborn son, Abdulwahab.”
The organization acknowledged the immense challenges Governor Namadi faces during these difficult times and prayed for his continued strength and wisdom.
“We pray that Almighty Allah grants the deceased eternal rest in Al Jannatul Firdausi and provides Your Excellency, your family, and the entire people of Jigawa State with the fortitude to bear this immense loss,” the statement concluded.
