New Couples: Bagudu harps on building decent matrimonial home through religious teachings

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has urged newly wedded couples to stick to religious principles to build a sound and decent matrimonial home which will culminated into building decent society and nation at large.
This is contained in a statement signed by Yahaya, Sarki,Special Adviser (SA) Media to Kebbi State Governor.

The governor gave the advice during the wedding Fatiha of Mustapha Sadiq (Bridegroom) with his new wife Maryam Abubakar Hussaini (Bride) which took place on Saturday at the Central Mosque in Birnin Kebbi with important personalities from far and near particularly Justices from the Judiciary in Abuja.

Gov. Bagudu was among important personalities who graced the wedding fatiha of Mustapha Sadiq, the son of Justice Sadiq Umar, Justice of the Court of Appeal, Federal Republic of Nigeria.

The Chief Imam of the Central Mosque, Imam Muktar Wali performed the religious solemnization of the wedding to both parties.

Justice Muhammad Lawal Garba, Justice of the Supreme Court served as Wakil (representative) for the Bridegroom, Mustapha Sadiq while the Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu served as the Waliyyi (representative) of the Bride, Maryam Abubakar Hussaini.

One Hundred Thousand Naira was paid as dowry before the holy matrimony was solemnised.

Some of the important personalities who attended the wedding include Justice Audu Aboki, Justice Tijjani Abubakar, Justice Mashood Aresola, Justice Uchechukwu Onyemenam, Justice Muhammad Lawal Shuaib, Justice Balkisu Aliyu , Justice A.M Bayero , Justice Umar Sadiq, Justice DZ Senchi, Justice Usman Musale and Justice Abba Muhammad among others.

Also present at the wedding, the Senator representating Kebbi Central, Senator Muhammadu Adamu Aliero, former governor of Kebbi State, Alhaji Saidu Usman Nasamu Dakingari, the Secretary to the State Government, Babale Umar Yauri, the State Chief Judge, Justice Suleiman Muhammad Ambursa, some members of the National and State House of Assembly, Commissioners, Permanent Secretaries, Special Advisers , Local Government Chairmen among others .
