NSCDC Deploys 3,256 Operatives for Eid-el-Fitr Celebration in Kano

The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) Kano State Command has deployed 3,256 operatives across the state to ensure a peaceful and secure Eid-el-Fitr celebration.

In a statement released on Friday, the State Commandant, Shafi’u Abdulmumini, approved the deployment to safeguard lives, property, and critical national assets. The operatives will be stationed at Eid prayer grounds, markets, recreational centers, and other public spaces to maintain law and order during the festivities.

The NSCDC emphasized that its personnel will work in collaboration with other security agencies to ensure seamless vehicular movement and prevent any disruption during the celebrations.

The Corps also urged Kano residents to cooperate with security operatives and embrace peace during the festive season.

“Peace is everybody’s business, and a rancor-free celebration is what every good citizen yearns for,” the statement read.

The Command wished residents a happy and memorable Eid-el-Fitr in advance.
