Operation Safe Haven Organizes Seminar for Peaceful Coexistence in Farming

Operation Safe Haven (OPSH) has taken a significant step towards ensuring a peaceful farming season in its Joint Operations Area (JOA).

The organization held a seminar at the 3 Division Auditorium, Maxwell Khobe Cantonment Jos, with the theme “Peaceful Coexistence: Panacea for a Successful Farming Season.”
In Press statement signed by Major Samson, media information officer operation safe haven, said the event brought together critical stakeholders from across the JOA, including government officials, security agencies, traditional rulers, farmers, herders, youth and women leaders, and civil society organizations.

Major General Abdusalam Abubakar, Commander of OPSH, emphasized the importance of peaceful coexistence for a successful farming season and national development.

Resource persons stressed the need for tolerance, forgiveness, and respect for human life.

Governors of Plateau and Kaduna states, through their special Advisers on Peace Resolution, Retired Brigadier General Gaki Shippi and Atiku Sankye, respectively pledged their support for security agencies.

Highlights of the seminar includes an interactive session, and presentation of patrol motorcycles to Neighborhood Watches to complement security efforts.
