Plateau Commissioner of Police orders unsealing of 17 Local Gov’t Secretariats

The Commissioner of Police Plateau State Command, Okoro Alawari, has on Monday ordered the unsealing of the Seventeen Local Government Area Secretariats across the State.
The CP, in a closed door meeting with relevant stakeholders, stated that the Seventeen Local Government Area Secretariats would be reopened for Local Government personnel to go in and carry out their duties.
In a statement signed by the police Public relations officer, Deputy Supretendant of Police Alfred Alabo, stressed that the offices of the Local Government Chairmen remain sealed pending the determination of the case by the court.
He also to ordered all the men stationed at the secretariat gates to withdraw and restrict themselves only to the offices of the Local Government Chairmen.
The Commissioner therefore, advised all aggrieved parties to pursue their case in the court.
The CP further assured the good and peace loving citizens of the State of our commitment toward maintaining the security of State by ensuring the protection of lives and properties of all citizens.
