Plateau CP assures to nab perpetrators of attack

The Plateau state Commissioner of Police, Bartholomew Nnamdi Onyeka has directed that discreet investigation be carried out to fish out
the perpetrators of attack on Te’egbe community of Bassa local government Area of the state.

In a statement signed by ASP UBAH GABRIEL OGABA, Anipr,
the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO)
described the act barbaric and assured the Community of his readiness to fish them out.

According to the Statement, “On 26/11/2021 at about 0130hrs, the Command received a report of an attack by yet to be identified gunmen at Te’egbe Village of Bassa LGA of the State.”

It explained that Upon receipt of the report, the Commissioner of Police Plateau State Command, CP Bartholomew N. Onyeka, psc(+), immediately drafted tactical team of the Command to the scene to avert further attack.

It decried that Unfortunately, ten (10) persons were killed and about thirty (30) houses set ablaze by the attackers.

The statement however said the Commissioner of Police had led other Senior Officers of the Command to the scene for an on the spot assessment and to console with the victims of the attack.
