Governor Caleb Mutfwang has pledged to transform Plateau State through various developmental initiatives.
The governor who made this known during a maiden media parley at the Government House in Jos said other initiatives includes infrastructure upgrades, healthcare enhancements, educational reforms, agricultural promotion, and technology integration.
He expressed optimism about the state’s future and reaffirmed his commitment to citizens’ well-being.
The governor unveiled his vision for a diversified economy beyond oil reliance and acknowledged journalists’ crucial role in promoting government policies and programmes.
Governor Mutfwang assured journalists of his commitment to creating a supportive environment for their work, recognizing their vital role in public education and policy promotion.
NUJ Chairman Ayuku Pwaspo commended the governor’s achievements and requested support for the NUJ’s ongoing project, the NUJ House at the Press Centre.
She explained that the project is aimed at providing a 500-seater hall and rental offices.
Our correspondent reports that the governor had promised assistance to the council during his campaign.
