Private School Proprietors Forum Joins Hands with Yobe Government to Reduce Out-of-School Children

Being a fundamental human right, every child in Yobe State is entitled to unhindered access to equitable and quality education, regardless of their circumstance or background.

That is why the Nguru LGEA is doing all it could to ensure the number of out of school children is reduced to the bearrest minimum.

Those were words uttered by the Nguru Local Education Authority Secretary, Mallam Hamisu Ado when he received in audience, delegation from the Private School Proprietors forum lead by Alh. Salihu Yusuf in his office, recently.

Buttressing his points, Mallam Hamisu further disclosed that “by adopting the sectoral legal framework it’s encouraging to say collective determination of educators in my area of jurisdiction paved way in our quest to dismantle the barriers that prevented children from accessing quality education”.

He said, “similarly, employing a comprehensive and inclusive approach, the framework available has provided the bases for transforming the educational atmosphere which make it realistic that in the nearest future no child is going to missed out in Accessing Quality Basic Education”.

“Another good news is that, all proprietors of both Private Islamiyya and modern schools have assured us they will not relent in their efforts to complementing Yobe State Government’s efforts as per as Basic Education is concern”.

Responding, Alh. Salihu Yusuf stated that they are more than happy to be received by the Education Secretary in his office.

Adding, “we are ready at any time when we are call upon to extend a helping hand towards supporting Government to realize its policy objectives and programs on education”.

“We being doing it, and we assure you we will continue to play our part more especially towards reducing the menace constituted by the number of Out Of School Children in Yobe State”.
